Theyre good but I replaced mine with a Mazzer SJ.
Theyre worm drive so no steps but the issue I had with them was the fixed hopper, too much effort cleaning it out each night if I cant take the hopper off.

I just dug out my old La Cimbali Cadet,

I stopped using it because, I thought, in my infinite wisdom that it was no good...........

fast forward, as this post attests I now use a Fiorenzato T80 A , and wondering hmmmmmm

was it driver error on the La Cimbali or.........

anyone got any theories on it???

    Craig.

Thanks mate, but i suppose I was asking for opinions on its performance and price against other grinders, and diff between t80 and t80A if there is one .

I already own the grinder and have nothing to compare it to.

    Craig.

Looks like you are looking for a $600+ grinder, if you want something similar to this grinder.

The logical choice would be a Mazzer Mini or Macap M5 that comes to my mind.
