Also looks like better initial distribution of grinds in the PF.
Has anyone that has used a Mazzer E vs a Doser found that the distribution improvement on the E produces a better pour? (and therefore part of the improvement is in the E over Doser)
I think the dosing on the Mini contributes to poorer (or pourer ) distribution and therefore a worse pour.

I use both at work. There is no real distribution improvement as such. Its more on how good you are are using the doser to distribute and how you distribute afterwards, stockfleths or strike off, or dosing tools or none etc. There are heaps other things than the distribution quality outta the end that is gonna affect the pour.
In fact, I prefer the control of the dosered WAY more than the E. In both, like I said before (I think) that you can pretty much fill the basket, collapse and tamp and get a good pour.
Both Robur dosered and Robur-e = awesome in the right hands.
