  • Venezianos Xmas Mazzer Clearout!

    Ho Ho Ho, everybody,

A friend of ours in the US accidentally ordered a whole shipment of super jollys and minis in the wrong voltage Well, we decided to help him out and buy them all from him ... which means that in about six weeks time, just in time for xmas, we are going to have the following available to coffeesnobs:

    Mazzer Mini Manual

    Mazzer Super Jolly

    PM for an unbeatable price

Each grinder will come with 1kg of one of our award winning coffees so that you can work out how to dial them in without the guilt of throwing away your hard-won home roasts. Each grinder will be backed by our service department. GST is included in the price, but delivery is not.

Stocks are limited, so PM me to secure your cure for upgrade fever.

If you are interested in buying a Makin Espresso, Expobar or ECM Giotto with one of the above grinders, we will also be able to create a package deal with substantial savings.

    Cheers,

    Luca

PS. These will most certainly not fit in your Xmas stockings!

    Hi All,

Unfortunately Pete and I arent going to be around until after about mid next-week, as I have exams and he has the trans-tasman barista cup. Feel free to PM me during this time, but I wont be able to answer until the end of next week.

    Cheers,

    Luca

Hhhhmmmm....Being unsure of the laws in AUS and knowing what a hot issue this has been in the US heres a question for ya. Because these grinders are being imported from outside Mazzers normal import channels will Mazzer and their authorized dealer/repair network honor any warranty claims on them?

      A statement in the ad:

Each grinder will be backed by our service department.
Implies that you will be covering the warranty yourselves. Is this the case?

What exactly is the warranty that these grinders come with and who will be responsible for covering that warranty?

Heres another thought. Even though they are 220-240V units, what plug do they come shipped with? If not an Aussie standard plug, how does the warranty cover replacing the plug with an Aussie compatible one. I guess you could us a universal adaptor to overcome this issue (if it is an issue).

Thats the frikkin incredible thing - apparently the dudes in the US ordered Australian mazzers, so not only are they the right voltage, but they have the right plugs! In the worst case scenario, well have a bunch of mazzers with the wrong plugs, so well just get a bunch of plugs and spend a day replacing them at no cost to consumers. Even if we were to charge for it, I doubt that anyone would complain. After all, were sharing the love and offering these grinders at wholesale price or below wholesale if paired with a prosumer machine.

Good question, Java. I spoke to Pete today and he said that we will provide a 12 months parts only, return to base warranty.

A few people have contacted me asking about these machines and mazzer prices in general. I want to make it perfectly clear that this offer is pure serendipity. It will be very limited and once these are gone we will be bumping the price back up a few hundred dollars as we return to our normal supply chain.

          Cheers,

          Luca

Oh, I just thought that I should add one more thing in response to Javas questions, but unfortunately Im not getting a "modify post" button.

Whilst many Australian companies buy from the largest mazzer importer, there is no exclusive mazzer importer in Australia. Anyone who orders the minimum quantity from mazzer can get them in direct. Many large roasteries, for example, order direct from mazzer and cover their own warranties.

            Cheers,

            Luca

Glad I found this thread (and this site!) - was considering the Rocky but having now read a bit about the mazzer mini I could be swayed I reckon

                      Hi Guys,

We have had a lot of interest in these grinders, but I need to remind everyone who has expressed interest that I can only reserve them on payment of a deposit, as I PMed everyone. This offer will stay open until deposits have been payed on the grinders that we have allocated to coffeesnobs and the order of payment of the deposits will determine priority.

                      Cheers,

                      Luca

                        Re: Venezianos Xmas Mazzer Clearout!

                        Thanks Luca

Can I just clarify the process for everyone.

We should wait until receipt of the Veneziano invoice?

Upon receipt we can pay the deposit.

The invoice will provide details of deposit payment options?

Can we then phone Veneziano and make a credit card payment?

                        Regards

                        Ron

You have it all exactly right. Thankyou for getting your details to me so promptly. Unfortunately, Im waiting on quite a few people to get back to me and you were just after the first lot of invoices. I will email the invoice out to you today or tomorrow.

                            Cheers,
