Hi Rusty
I got a 4 AA cell vacuum cleaner from Dick Smith for my grinder and took it back to DS for a refund. They were fine and gave me the refund. Its the first time I returned a product because it **didnt** suck! It could not even pick up coffee grounds.

Careful with blowing--you have no idea where some of the grinds will end up.
Given they blew out into the dosing chamber, is this an issue?
If you are using a blower that takes 8 or 10 seconds to blow out 19 grams of coffee, maybe not. Although the grounds really spin out with centrifugal force. I see a different possible scenario to using a 1500 watt blower. Im afraid of finely ground coffee flying into delicate electronics and into the internals of the electric motor.
