The grinders at work are having all sorts of issues.
Our primary grinder is a Mazzer Robur and grinds probably 5-7kgs of coffee on a good day.
During busy periods we make use of the dosing chamber which is approximately set to dispense 16-17 grams of coffee over 3 clicks. Recently we found the chamber to be under dosing except nobody knows how to adjust the dosing chamber. Does anyone have a PDF manual they could send to me?
On the flip side, during quiet times we like to grind to order. However, I keep finding that the grounds keep landing to the left leaving a very uneven pile of coffee on one side of the basket which makes grooming messy and problematic. I thought this had something to do with the speed at which I dosed, but neither dosing slow or fast seems to fix the problem.
Our Mazzer Major is a backup grinder I like to use for specialist coffee I buy on the weekend. It grinds exceptionally fast, but when I try to grind to order the grounds come out a lot like a shower and sprinkle all over the group handle. Just like the Robur I seem to be losing a lot of coffee to spillage.
Any help would be extremely appreciated.
