How much coffee have you put through. For home use 2 years should just about see the burrs starting to be run in

    Cheers

Ive just finished replacing the burrs on my Anfim and as mal says wood doweling (I used 4 chopsticks) through the chute is the way to go.

How do the old and new burrs compare on a close visual inspection?

Hey, thanks guys for the info, much appreciated.
I saw the link to the video but completely missed the one at barista which was probably the most helpful.

Getting a dowel into the discharge chute to stabilise things seems a bit better bet too.
    Thanks again all.
Let you know how I go.

    Hmmm...

I wouldnt use the method that he is using to lock the motor shaft though (risks upper bearing damage)... Far safer to identify a short piece of wooden dowel that will fit through the discharge chute and brace against one of the grounds slingers.....

    Referring to this photo....

    Greetings all

I have been using my SJ for just over a 2 years now and would like to replace the burrs.

Does anyone have any advice or a link to start off with. Have done a google and coffee snob search but no luck....yet.
