Re: Help me!
Congratulations on acquiring a fine machine Lisa. Given that the common advice is that the grinder is a much more important part of the equation. You will generally get better results with a good grinder than a good coffee machine. So I agree with 2mcm in that you will need to spend much more.
For example, from a quick check on google, the Rancilio Rocky grinder is about £240, the Mazzer Mini is about £450, a Mahlkoenig Vario for about £315. This is the range I would be looking at, or better. I think the Rocky would be your starting point.

Re: Help me!
I agree the KG100 cannot grind fine enough for espresso and is inconsistent. Sunbeam 0480 might be your only option if you can find it on sale. Or get a hario/kyocera hand grinder and build up your muscles.

Re: Help me!
Dont do the KG100, it will not grind well enough to suit the Pav, it is worse than the 450/480 Sunbeams in consistancy and build.

Re: Help me!
The best I can come up with is the Delonghi KG100 as this is a rebadged Solis 166. You may need to mod the grind setting to get it a bit finer that factory setting but there are numerous articles on the web for the mod. Here in Oz it sells for $159 but a quick search of a UK site had it at 159 pounds - which seems expensive. I will leave the price checking to you.

Re: Help me!
At that price unless you are going second hand your only option is a hand operated grinder.
If you can get them locally the Japanese Hario or Kyocera do a great job with my Pavoni (actuaaly just about to go make one 8-) ) It takes about a minute to grind a double shot of beans and they are easy and quiet to use.
Have a read here for lors of happy Kyocera users http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1240128496
