Hi guys,
Something somebody may or may not be able to assist with.
The blend Im running currently (Dark Mocha from Cottle on Clarendon if anybodys interested, planning to start home roasting but need to find a second hand bread maker first, in the mean time these guys provide pretty fresh beans roasted on site just a pain having to go to South Melbourne for my coffee) contains some particularly large beans, this seems to cause my Rocky to choke, or rather the feed from the hopper to choke, burrs still run but theres nothing to grind.
Ive found that if I reach into the hopper and give the beans around the "hat" in the centre (Im sure theres a proper term for that...) a bit of a push I can get it feeding again, wondering if anybody else has run into this one? Im thinking that it might be an idea to unscrew the "hat" and stick some washers under it to pad it out a bit and see if that helps the feed any.
Thoughts, suggestions, ideas welcomed.
Thanks.
