  • Mazzer Kold

Mazzer showed their new Kold grinder at HOST.

The intention is better cooling for cafes who are finding that their Roburs are getting slammed.

Motor is belt driven and isolated from the burrs. Burr replacement and cleaning is straightforward once the hopper is removed.

It's available in doser and doserless configurations. P&A in Australia to be confirmed...

I appreciate what they are doing but at the same time that is just... Monstrous.

That Eureka burr carrier design is really slick.

Admittedly, if you have a Robur (or more) that is starting to struggle with throughput, I'd guess that you'd be really going through the coffees.

Any more info on the specifications of this beast?

So, same burrs as the Robur, only the path, adjustment and everything else is different. I wonder if this would turn into a replacement for the big Mazzer?

Grinds path looks the same to me?, looks like a pain to dissasemble to clean under the burrs
