My Wega branded Compak K3T (bought from a non-sponsor roaster in Sydney) was cheaper than I could find K3P from anywhere, sponsor or not.

      Hi Ozsmac,

yeah I've been a little slow on the emails over the last couple of days, running around while most of the staff have a well earned break. As already mentioned above, the black version of the K3 Touch is branded Wega but is all K3 Touch under the sticker. Our website made mention of this until the description got deleted at some point (soon to be reinstated ... ).

I was pretty excited to see the new version of the K3 Touch in our latest shipment. The timer adjustment is now on the front of the grinder and is much easier to adjust. I've had a play and the timer markings are pretty accurate too. I think the new version of the Touch is now a real contender in the timer grind-on-demand segment.

        Hi Charlie,

Deborah also replied to me yesterday, so in addition to the wonderful help from folks here, as expected I got the fantastic level of service that I understand is common at JetBlack Espresso.

Turns out I have some learning to do, as with my favourite (and yes fresh) beans from St Ali, I'm at almost max fine setting to get a reasonable shot. I recently tested my grouphead pressure (thanks to Mr Pullmans travelling gauge) and it's about 10BAR, so should be about right. I'm giving it one hell of a tamp.........I have some searching to do, but if anyone has a tip I'm all ears.

Thanks again for the help and guidance.

Ho ozamac. Max fine is burrs together and turkish- so it's just the way the grinder is set at the factory.

The Jetblack crew will be able to talk you through the adjustment if a finer grind is required.
