  • Mazzer Super Jolly OEM burrs

I'm looking to replace my 64mm Mini-E burrs with OEM 64mm Super Jolly burrs as per this thread on Home-Barista Mazzer Mini E burrs - Does replacing with Super Jolly burrs make a difference? - Grinders • Home-Barista.com

The problem is is that I'm not sure which of the Australian sellers of mazzer burrs actually distinguishes between the Mini-E burrs and SJ burrs. Both being 64mm I get the impression many sellers see them as indistinguishable (and sell them as such) when indeed the burrs are quite different (the SJ burrs being more aggressively angled).

So does anyone know who does sell the OEM Super Jolly burrs (which have a different part number to the Mini-E burrs)? To my mind, a mere google search does NOT throw up a conclusive answer. I've tried.

I did exactly this mid last year. I got my Mazzer genuine Super Jolly burrs from site sponsor Jetblack Espresso. As I've posted previously, I found the biggest difference was the time for grinding (cut about 40% off the time).

I think that the part number for the Mini E is 189D and for the Super Jolly is 33M.

Thanks for the reply. Given the fact that the grinding time is reduced I guess they supplied you with the right part. My concern was that I would order SJ burrs and get Mini-E burrs.

Understand the concern... give Debbie or Charlie a quick call, I'm sure they're all over it.

Yep, apologies for not searching CS threads first. I guess now at least the issue has been doubly clarified.
