  • La Scala grinders?

Does anyone know about the grinder range from La Scala? Having just moved over to Auckland Ive been on the hunt for equipment, and these have come up at a couple of shops.

PS good coffee scene over here. Small roasting companies everywhere (something like 52 in Auckland!). Still have to find a cheap green supplier though! missing beanbay!.

Can you post a link to a photo or something? Theres a lot of rebranding that goes on ... I think that La Scala might rebrand Macap and Bregant (or whatever the actual root company of that one is) ...

google "la scala grinder" and youll find their site (though its not up at the moment for me...).

However I think they only do doser models and Id prefer a doserless due to low volume of consumption...

Maybe 2MCM can send you one if you cannot get it from NZ? The freight cost would not be too hefty - I send stuff to NZ all the time and it si not too bad.

Also, I have just had a quick look at Pomeroys website and they do not have much in the way of grinders, though they do have a nice selection of green beans. http://www.pomeroys.co.nz/the-bean.asp

They do post beans to people for a quite reasonable price so contact them.

Pomeroys is in Nelson and I recommend them as i have been there a number of times and their coffee is great.
