I was just wondering people have any suggestions for french press grinder as I can't be bothered changing the grinder I use for espresso. This will be rarely used and therefore I'm not looking to spend too much and even might consider a hand grinder as it would take less space. Any suggestions? Price would be hopefully be under 50 or under 100.

I'm in exactly the same boat as you javatime, and have just today gone for a Hario Skerton (available from some sponsors).
Although, if you prefer electricity to your arm, i'm sure a second hand EM0480 Sunbeam would be around that price range. My (now sold) EM0480 was doing a pretty good job of grinding for French press and Aeropress

If you go a hand grinder, get one where the active burr is held in place at the bottom as well as the top. The Skerton's burr - sorry to say - is not, and so the coarser you grind, the more the burr wobbles and produces quite and uneven grind.
French press is one of the coarsest grinds, so the Skerton - and any other hand mill where the active burr is not held in place - is not so great.

Well the budget isn't that strict but prefer to be frugal as it's not really that important and all I could see in the Australian market is the hario but can wait till I see what I want. For around 200 I hear the Pharos is a good option as I only have two power points which are taken by the espresso machine and grinder and a pain to unplug and pack each time

I've got a porlex mini which is great and I use it in an aeropress very happily (yes I know it's not a French Press). If packing it away is't a problem there's a tall size which might be easier to get a grip on. The mini is fine for the odd grind but I find it twists in the hand a little as there's a soft rubber grip mid way to hold the handle when in storage, which moves when you grind. The tall doesn't have that. Not quite sure what Bames is getting at (just my level of understanding here) but it seemed to do a coarse grind pretty well.
