  • Grinder or T-Rex in Disguise

Thanks to 2mcm - Chris youre a legend - I now have a Compak K3 Touch gracing my benchtop.

Now that its here I keep looking at it and thinking it has a lot in common with a T-Rex. Its tall, has big feet (the base), has scrawny little arms, gnashing teeth and eats a lot.  ;D

Here it is. I suppose it is probably more like a baby T-Rex.

It is the best birthday present ever and works like a dream.

Was the pestle and mortar what you were using before? ;D

Looks like a great view from the window too - paradise?

Re: Grinder or T-Rex in Disguise

      I am loving it.

Mortar & Pestle for coffee grinding, god no, thatd take forever!

Nah, in the upper right corner on top of the microwave is my saeco superauto :-[ . It has a built in grinder that never seemed to be able to grind fine enough. Its up there cause of limited space; meaning I have to stand on a chair to steam milk but, seeing as I drink black coffee, this only happens when the rellies are over.

Id gotten the coffees as best as I could within the machines limited parameters and thought that Id get a good grinder and then save up for a better coffee machine.

Now I can grind coffee for plunger/stovetop as well.

As for the window, well kind of, just dont look behind the trees.

I could always paint it green & put some dinosaur spines down the back but then I might be afraid to approach it
