  • Compak K3 push.

Looking for a grinder to pair with my new Rancilio Silvia.
    The Compak has been recommended.
For around $500 would it be wiser to spend a bit more for a used Mazzer Mini/Super jolly or pull the trigger on a Compak?
    Thanks in advance.

    G'day Darren...

Probably another grinder that's in the same price ballpark as the K3, is a Macap M2M. Several CSers have bought the M2M lately and have been very impressed with its performance, so probably worthy of consideration...

Just sold my Compak K3 push today after buying a new grinder. the compack K3 is a great grinder and best for anything around that price. As Mal above said the M2M seems popular too and very impressive in many peoples eyes.

        Thanks for the help.
Just picked up a slightly used Macap M4D for a bargain price after reading some great things on this forum.
Can't wait for it to arrive!!!!

I have just gone to a macap m4d also from the k3. The macap is great so far. Easy to set up and use.

I am very pleased with my newly acquired Macap M4D.
            Coffee's never tasted so good.
I'm wondering why kind of routine maintenance I should perform to keep it in tip top condition.
            Thank you.

Why did you change to the macap. Did you have any problems with the k3?
