Sounds like a good option. I noticed mention of the NS MCI - I've heard these are a bit of a dark horse, and don't get much mention but stack up well. Any thoughts from your research?

Totally agree with Mal! Would suggest visiting Chris at Talk Coffee in Northcote. He has both the M2M and K3 on the demo bench.Originally posted by Dimal View PostG'day E...
Very hard to go past either the Macap or the Compak units - Grinders for life to be honest...

Advice on picking a grinder
Hi,
I'm looking to retire a Sunbeam Cafe Series grinder. I'm budgeting up to $600 for this project.
Usually I will brew two to five coffees a day. Mostly use aeropress or stove top. Less often a siphon or french press.
I don't leave the beans in the grinder's hopper to go stale. I usually weigh out the exact amount of beans I want to grind and drop them in.
I'm in the Melbourne South East. Ideally I'd like to go into a store with a reasonable range and chat with someone knowledgeable. Going through the websites of Melbourne based sponsors, some potential grinders that look like they could suit are: Macap M2M, Rancilio Rocky doserless, Compak K3 Touch or Push, and Nuova Simonelli MCI.
Any feedback on grinders that you think would suit me and/or where to buy around Melbourne would be appreciated.
