i dont like to haggle when i know the price is right. if i can get the EM0480 for 120 then ill consider it. i understand every business need to make profit but dont support the ones that try to maintain a rip off P/M

I hate haggling myself.....but I am married to a Chinese woman and they know how to haggle!!
Ive seen her haggle for 20 minutes hanging out for the equivalent of 5 CENTS.....I had to hide around the corner and had a great laugh untill she arrived back.....then it was my turn...it was my fault that the owner wouldnt come down the last 5 cents........and most of the haggling was that the foreigner could afford it!!

    I hate haggling.

I was selling a bike once and had $1700 on it, I was going to sell for $1350 if I had an offer though.
A guy came round, had a look and said "I dont like to haggle, here is your money". Then he gave me $1700 cash.

    That felt good.

    ......

Also any tips on haggling hehe im not really good in it.
Haggling is easy and fun. Here are some ideas for you:
Go to the store when they are busy and just before closing time - then start wasting time
Take someone who has no interest in what you want to buy and doesnt love you
Go and have a coffee while they deal with the salesperson
Get your friend to offer them the invoice value + 5%
Know what the lowest price of the item costs elsewhere and offer 15% less and be prepared to sette for 10%
Tell the salesperson you really had your heart set on a different colour - a colour that isnt available
Be prepared to walk out if they dont accept your offer (you can always come back)
Ask 2mcm for his advice - hes probably heard all this before

They seem to move an awful lot....

Look I can buy a great espresso machine at a bargain price.... : :

Get it home..... doesnt produce great coffee (must be me ) so to the back of the cupboard it goes..

And another disillusioned potential CoffeeSnob disappears.

    Thems the ones.
I can imagine lots of punters shelling out the readies for these thinking they are getting a good machine.

Hopefully there wont be too many disappointed people.

I suppose there will some people wholl be happy with it.

I couldnt see any of the Delonghis on there today. Well, there is 1 but it is a lower model.

Someone has a bunch of craptacular plastic machines with a grinder inbuilt. Seems to be a container load of them on there today.
