And the problem arose suddenly after I completely cleaned it out.
Mine does not clack - but every now and then it kind of makes a clunk and moves like it got bumped.
Now I’m wondering actually if the 800 grinder and the 820 have completely different impellers and the problem with mine might not be so related...
The impeller in the 820 I have is made with a stainless steel shell, the one I see in the 800 is plastic with much longer pointed tips....

Anyway, I have, with lots of trials, found that it now works perfectly with settings of 14 for the grind size and 11.4 for the length of grind time. Not the same as originally; but I don't care ! I have a reliable shot to pull again, and I'm laughing.
