I'm sorry, but there's no need for added sugar in a coffee.
What if you like how it tastes with sugar? Wouldn't that be a good enough reason? Isn't that why we do all the crazy stuff like weighing doses and home roasting, because we like the taste?
We sold a white E5 yesterday with a Rocket R58 to a new to home coffee client.
The client asked for a hand to get things grind into the zone and after the unboxing, I ended up with 10 seconds for an OEM Rocket Espresso naked with triple basket which went with the machine.
Of the E5/M4D and Fausto, the E5 packs the quickest grind and most comprehensive software. I continue to be impressed by this little powerhouse...
No, unlike a tiny percentage of our readers, the purchaser has taste
Hey that's not nice remember our differences is what makes the world a better place, also I took back the E5 and exchanged it for a K3 advanced. I really don't make espresso that often to substantiate the purchase price, plus my wife gave me that evil eye look and told me I have a kid in college.
So I wait patiently for the arrival of my Compaq K3 advanced in polished aluminum....

A white E5 sounds cool. I think a bit later in the year an early Christmas present for myself will be a grinder upgrade (and machine service). At the top of my list so far would be the macap m4d and compak E5. So when the time comes maybe a trip to Northcotte could be planned to make some comparisons.....
I'm sorry, but there's no need for added sugar in a coffee, if you have pulled a good shot and steamed the milk correctly. If you are going to add sugar (or condensed milk) to coffee, then, there's no need for the Compak E5, any grinder will do.
It's all down to personal taste Sam.
I know, enjoy and am able to make good coffee.
I use a small spoon (approx 3 grams) of sugar in my brew, always have and always will.
If you don't like or feel the need for sugar, fine, your choice, please don't assume a lack of knowledge or taste just because others differ.
Shock horror, on a Sunday morning I have been known to put a big spoon of dulce de leche in the jug with the milk for my weekly latte. Might just do it again tomorrow
