  • Simonelli ISX grinder?

    Hi everyone

Do you folks have any more information on this particular grinder? I was told by the seller the model is ISX, but google brings up nothing

It looks like an older generation MDX, but I am not too sure

I am wondering if this would be a good upgrade from the la cimbali jr grinder, i find that the jr has a lot of 'fine's. I drink drip + espresso.

thanks for taking the time to read

Sure has the look of an old Gino Rossi about it...

Re: your La Cimbali, the preponderance of fines may be due to the burr-set which is past its use-by date.
A common problem with blunt burrs...

I agree with Mal, it definitely looks like a rebadged Gino Rossi.

If you are capable get yourself a new set of burrs and pull everything apart and give it a good clean up.

It's a Gino Rossi RR45. Same grinder rebadged by at least a billion other companies.

It's pretty basic but parts are cheap and they make good workhorses.
