I do not want to be cleaning this thing every darn week - by that I mean stripping the top burr off and cleaning the shoot to then only loose my grind setting. What a pita
You are right, it would not be an expected result. I had a Atom 60 and the two times it clogged the chute were due to my roasts being oily. Your Atom doesn't lose grind settings when cleaning. I would try another roaster - here is at least a known quantity from a roaster which has won the Golden Bean three times - https://beanbay.coffeesnobs.com.au/C.../RoastedCoffee

Ps I forgot to mention after a roast which clogs the chute be very thorough on the cleaning of the chute. Wipe firmly , then warm soapy water and strong scrubbing then wipe firmly again. Remove all traces of any oil

  • Are you doing RDT?

Even on my P64, if I don't RDT, I get a bit of clogging and need to blow.
