Zee, unfortunately for me the compliance label is prominently displayed in my setup. It reads 50-60hz, 220-240V so you are ok.

Having now read the whole thread, and only seen one reference to this question with no clear answer...

Would an Atom be a good investment for light duty cafe use? Say, 50-100 coffees/day? I'm not seeing the Atom 65 anywhere, though will shoot off some inquiries. This would be as an alternative to, say, a Ceado E6P (keep in mind, said tiny cafe is not in Aus, we're running a GS3, and the grinder would need to be 220v/60hz capable).

Speaking of which, don't suppose I could trouble someone to check the power specs label, and see if it, by chance, says 50/60Hz next to the 240V bit? None of the Aussie sites seem to mention this, and the one site that does states "110/120V", clearly a cut and paste from the US info sheet...

    Z...

Hey mate - sorry, I forgot about this!

The grinder has been amazing (for me). The adjustments hold sold, it dials in super easy and it is wickedly quiet.

I find the grind very clump free and nice and fluffy. It spits out a very consistent 19g dose in about 8 seconds and I would say 99% of the grinds hit the portafilter - there is very little throw on to the counter (most, if not all, are caused by me).

I have the small hopper currently installed typically only fill it halfway. The odd bean does get hung up when it’s running low, but it’s not an issue.

I think Eureka has also changed the spindle that holds the burrs. They plastic “spiral” that pulled beans down on the older Atom has been changed to a larger spiral in the metal spindle. I am not 100% about this change as I didn’t own the older version, but I get very little “spit back” from beans when the hopper is low.

I am thrilled with the grinder and highly recommend putting it on your shortlist.

Ha!! I did hurt a little... but, hoping for a sale of the Super Jolly to offset the initial outlay... I just couldn't resist!

Anyone here had experience with the Red Speed Burrs before?

Of course, the Atom fell into my lap the day after I installed brand new burrs into my Super Jolly Electric - I guess the purchaser of the Jolly will be starting of right though!!

Now I feel like an idiot. All good. Just needed to try more options.
