What is this “cleaning” you speak of?

    Hi Kafine.
In my opinion, they are all quality grinders.
I considered the Profitec a couple of years ago, as I thought it would be a perfect brand match for my Pro 500.
Glad I waited though, as I recently purchased the Atom based on many reasons, the main being my experience of already owning the Eureka Mignon, and I also like that the grind adjustment is via the bottom burr. That means not having to recalibrate the grind after removing the top burr for cleaning. Don't know how big a deal recalibration is for owners of grinders with top burr adjustment, but for me, this makes it that little bit quicker and easier.
Good luck, you can't go wrong with any of these.
    Cheers
    Mal

There's a near new Atom in the Coffee Hardware For Sale section for a decent discount. Posted 3 weeks ago.

Sette 270w? Fast, consistent, clean, noisy, relatively cheap.

Or a more "traditional" grinder like your K3 but with bigger burrs (faster) and electronic dosing (consistency). The cleaner delivery can vary.

Something like a Macap M4D perhaps? (some say it can be clumpy with fine grinding). There are many others.

Best way is to try them out yourself if you can.

    Cheers

I'd reckon that the Eureka Atom would be right up your street mate.

What is it that you hope a grinder upgrade will bring to the palate?
Or, is it more a matter of convenience, speed, bling-bling or something else?

It also comes down to how you prefer to drink your coffee - Long blacks, espressos, flat whites, cappa's, etc...

I think you will need to spend some serious coin to buy a grinder that will give you much better results in the cup. What budget do you have? Perhaps a trip down the road to have a chat to Jetblack.

I have a K3 grinder and would like to take the next step up. I feel my VBM Jr is still producing great coffee but am thinking a better grinder may give me better control over taste in the cup. In your opinion guys what is the logical next step up from the K3 that will give me an easier more consistent dose and noticeable flavour profile difference. Thanks in advance
