    Another +1 for the Atom.

I picked one up from Casa the other day, and I love it.
Great service from Antony as well - Thanks!

Good to see Sydney sponsers now stocking these, gives more people the opportunity to see them in the metal.
Having said that, I am more than happy with the service from Antony of Casa Espresso during my recent purchase.
    Cheers
    Mal

Certainly a great grinder and a worthy upgrade from your mini

    cheers

Welcome to the club. I went from Macap M4D to the Atom and yes I had the same WOW response. It's so cool.

I thought about going conical but the Eureka Atom won me over. It might just be my 'forever' grinder.

    I bought a compac F10 a few months ago which I love
Previously I had a Macap M4D which are really nice, but decided to move to a conical and I really liked the worm drive on the Macap - hence the "F" model as opposed to "E10"
    Good luck with choice!
    Cheers

I have the Quamar Q50 push grinder and I used to own a Mazzer Mini and Mazzer Major. The Q50 is much quieter, makes less mess and has a really even grind.

It is better than my K3 then as it does collect a fair bit of coffee over time. I clean it as in the burrs every 3 months

On a serious note though, with my previous grinder (Macap M4), I think I disassembled the burrs twice in 5 years. And both times I needn’t have bothered, the burrs were very clear.

I did stick the Dyson on it once a month or so though, just to pick up the loose grounds.
No need to apologise. The "" was a clue that it was tongue-in-cheek, but thought I would cover all bases

Thanks everyone I may wait to see what the new Atom with the bigger burrs are like before taking the plunge. There is no hurry for me at this stage as the K3 still grinds well and the coffee I make is mostly great lol
