  • ECM S-64 grinder

    Hi,

I have a Bezzera Magica and am now in the market for a grinder. I am looking at the ECM S-64. Does anyone have any experience with this grinder? Or recommend something else?

Looking for feedback and suggestions, the online reviews for it are good, but as there are no sellers local to me, I need to purchase online and will be a hassle to return it if I am not happy.

What about checking out some grinders from the Vendor from whom you purchased the Magica?
Might get a better price and an all around better experience...

    Mal.

      Hi Mal,

i did, they were not so helpful. I’m regretting buying it from the vendor I did (site sponsor).

I was looking at the s-64, atom and ECM t-64. S-64 had some issues when researching. If your wanting some compact the profitec grinder is a good comparison. I really liked the atom as it was quiet and the cleaning of the burrs looks nice.

Ended up with ECM titan 64. It was fast, going to last a lifetime without upgraditus and perfectly matched my ECM sync2ronika

I’m the same boat. Got a synchronika on the way and thinking the Titan or atom chrome. Leaning towards the atom. Not sure what the Titan has over the atom besides matching in the realo world

Have to sell the macap m4d in chrome first though.

            Oops...
            That's a pity.

Any particular reason why you're focussing on the ECM?
Seems like the Eureka Atom is a direct competitor and very well received around these parts...

            Mal.

Tbh for some reason I skipped over the atom but am definitely looking at it now.

Reviews and feedback for it is very positive.

I have the S-64 Manual. I like it a lot. Clumps a bit but I'm only a novice(ish) so my opinion may not be worth too much.

Let me know if there's any Q's I can help with
