Greetings from a novice,
I have just returned from a few years in the wilderness with a fully automatic machine and have recently purchased a Isomac Tea Due and a Macap M2D. I am making some half decent espresso, but I would really like to increase my consistancy with precise dosing which I believe should be possible with my M2D. That was the main reason for me choosing that model over the slightly cheaper M2M. Trouble is, with the timer set at maximum (approx 9 seconds), I still only receive 13-14g of ground coffee. My grind setting is producing a nice crema with the first drip coming at around the 6-8 second mark. So reducing the grind to a courser setting is not really an option that I can tell. Im using Grinders Crema organic Arabica beans at the moment. So the question is, what am I missing? I have a horible feeling itis something very simple and I will feel quite stupid when it is pointed out to me, but that is the purpose of me being here, to learn and hopefully pay it forward one day! Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Matt.
