I've currently got a Macap M2M which has been great, but has started to leave me frustrated recently:
1. I just find it to be a messy grinder - even after buying a dosing collar for my portafilter, there is still grinds that fly around the sides and leave a mess around the grinder.
2. In trying to hone my shots, I've now commonly found that what I think would be the ideal grind size is inbetween two set points. So far I have been compensating by adjusting dose etc, but ideally I'd like to dose consistently and dial the grinder in accordingly.
I'd like to get something that doses directly down into the portafilter and has micrometric adjustment.
First thought was a Mazzer Mini, but I have since come across the Quamar range in my research, but don't know too much about them.
