Hi all
I have an Anfim KS which has given me years of good service. I bought it second hand and when I got it, I found that when I dialled it down to the position I needed to produce perfect shots it would chirp just a tiny bit (burrs touching somewhere). Because it was very minimal I just ignored it.
Today I pulled the burr set out and gave everything a good clean, but when I put it back together the chirping was significantly worse. In fact I can't dial it down to the same setting I had it on before, because the burr contact is too significant.
There is nothing complicated to adjust on this burr set - just three screws on each of the top and bottom rings. Does anyone know how I can rebalance the burr set so that I can keep using it as before? I think this is some sort of alignment issue rather than an actual fault.
Thanks
