Hi bain89, these are genuine Macap burrs - I've added "genuine" to the description to make that clear, thanks.

Hi, from previous experience some time ago the M4 burrs will not fit as the screw spacing and slightly different. Also the M4D burrs have a more aggressive profile hence the 4D grinds quicker...... so confirm the burrs you are looking at are to suit the M4D model.....

PS. Charlie I just tried your link and it didn’t work for me....

Would anyone know what I should ask for my M4D? It’s in a rare white enamel colour (photo is a few posts above). I think maybe I sell it and upgrade. It’s in exceptionally good condition.

Search M4D in the 'for sale' section and see recent sales

I’m experiencing the same slow delivery problem with my M4D. Taking at least 18-20 second for a 21 gm basket. Maximum you can program is 16 seconds. My replacement burrs are Mazzer. Have tried running beans through it at various grind levels to hopefully season them as suggested by others on the forum with no change to speed. Any thoughts on this or advice greatly appreciated.
The tech that fitted them is more than happy for me to bring it back to him (which I probably will do). Just wondering if anyone is of the opinion that the Mazzer burrs are not a good fit.
