    Hey folks,

    Lurker / coffee noob here. Bought a secondhand grinder recently and gave it the first clean out today. It was super dirty....anyway.

    We put it back together using some instructions on youtube - being careful not to cross thread it. we did not really need to push down hard to get the collar to thread back on and it feels like it's spinning nicely.

    I would like to know is it normal to be able to see a few threads in between the collar and the body of the machine? I can't remember if it had such a gap like that beforehand. This is how it looks after being taken to where it wouldn't move any finer, then dialed back a half turn. then finer adjustments made so it matches the coffee we're using. Cheers
