You could try using a hair dryer on LOW heat setting to speed up drying process.
Then a thorough clean should see things working again.

I think the best thing to do is to turn it off and leave it open to dry.

The other suggestion is to pull it apart and wipe it dry and scrape off all the gunk - again you may have to leave it awhile to dry out properly.

    water in my mdf :(

ok, first up im willing do concede that im an idiot... i was filling my classic with water, the lid on the brita clicked out and i poured water over everything - the machine, my pid box, the bench and straight into the top of my mdf.

lucky, there werent too many beans in there, but i threw them out and let it dry a little and things didnt look too bad so i reloaded and started grinding. the motor spun happily but nothing came out...

it seems there was still water in between the burrs so anything ive ground has instantly turned to mush...

Ive opened up the plates to their widest setting, gotten my head into the outlet of the grinder and cleaned out what i can but its still a bit moist and gluggy in there. any suggestions? am i just going to have to wait til it dries and that its not too stuck on?

    cheers.
Working...
