Re: Small Footprint Grinder Advice (&Ascaso sale/s
Thanks everyone for your input. Ive spoken with Di Bartolis and will probably settle on the Ascaso Mini.

Re: Small Footprint Grinder Advice (&Ascaso sale/s
I got a Isomac Granmacinino Grinder from Di Bartoli - so far its been an excellent grinder.
If you go there they have both of them out there - my wife had pretty strict requirements regarding bench space and grinders - she LOVES the grinder as it hardly takes up any bench space.
You can see a pic of it on Di Bartolis web site and there are some reviews of it here: http://www.coffeegeek.com/reviews/grinders/isomac_grinder

Re: Small Footprint Grinder Advice (&Ascaso sale/s
They are a highly impressive grinder. We have 4 available as CS special pricing with complimentary delivery as well. 2 of the four have a Coffeelab design tamper hiding in the box....so you have a 50% chance of a freebie giftOriginally posted by Mal link=1189317489/0#2 date=1189324229Gday Brayster,
Welcome to CoffeeSnobs [smiley=thumbsup.gif].
How about one of these little beauties.... https://http://coffeesnobs.com...480374. Seems like they are made very well and have a very well designed "adjustable" doser as well. Very hard to ignore given the extremely competitive price.
Cheers,

Re: Small Footprint Grinder Advice (&Ascaso sale/s
Hello Brayster,
The smallest great grinder that I have seen is the Ascaso i2 mini. Im not sure that there are a lot of them around at the moment, but I think that Di Bartoli might have one or two.
Cheers,
Luca

Small Footprint Grinder Advice (&Ascaso sale/swap)
Love the forum. This ones my first post..
My wonderwife wife organised a Bday present for me recently - angel that she is ... a brand spanking new Ascaso Coffee Grinder
.
Problem is that its simply too large >
for us to leave out on the bench next to our coffee machine (QUAHA Junior) and I really dont want to have to put it away and pull it out every time I want to use it - so Im looking for some advise on a smaller footprint alternative that will still give me a fantastic result. (smaller footprint - mainly narrower and shorter, depth not such an issue).
Research on sponsor sites seems to indicate that the ECM Best or ECM Doserless are probably the options. Anyone got any advise on others I should look at or, other than price and Doser/Doserless options, advice between these two?
Also - Im going to be looking to sell or Swap (+cash difference if price higher) the Ascaso (guaranteed unused, still in box) if anyone is interested in a deal OR if someone reads this and wants a brand new Ascaso at a discount price, its on the market.
