Re: EM0480 problem
If you can still dial it in for a 30 second pour, Id guess its seated properly.
Ill check where the dot is relative to other landmarks at home tonight, would probably be handy to have a reference photo or two on here.

EM0480 problem
I recently pulled apart my grinder to give it a clean, and as it was grinding too fine, I used this opportunity to remove another washer. When I went to reassemble I noticed the white mark on the upper burr which is used to align the burrs in the right direction had been completely rubbed off !!! So I have no way of knowing if I have put it back correctly. Would it be blatantly obvious from the way the coffee was grinding - or could I have it placed incorrectly and not know it? Coincidentally the grind setting has moved down to about 8-11 - but I have noticed that even with a nice slow pour the shot blonds very early and tastes quite bitter - another variable is also that I am trying a new blend. SO MANY VARIABLES not sure what to do ???Tags: None
