I don't know what the dose is here but this one takes 8-10s
It appears to be quite a dark roast, which will grind quicker than a medium or light roast

Although what goes in the cup is what matters most, i did some googling to find other experiences with the f64 evo and your manual is correct. 4.5 - 5.5 seconds for an 18 gm grind seems what other users experience. Are you experiencing popcorning?

Thanks Mal. I was just going off what the manual said, I thought it was a bit low but who argues witha manual. All good I'll keep working with what it was

Hi 3pigs.
4 seconds for 20g seems very optimistic
My 2c's; getting the right grind size is what is important, not the time it takes.
Cheers
Mal

F64EVO grinder 12sec grind time
I'm green on coffee grinders. i have just purchased a F64EVO second hand, that is taking 12 seconds to grind out 20g. Grind size is around 8 on the dial. Manual says should take around 4 seconds. Can this be adjusted to take the 4 seconds or is there an issue, burrs blunt or something else causing it ?Tags: None
