Not related to this grinder but related to Catch - I was browsing for some scales and snagged a set of acaia lunar scales for like $16 plus post! I had the same thoughts - that it must be too good to be true - but couldn’t go past it as these retail for between $330-$380.

I’ve had a similar experience before on a different (reputable) site - was looking for a blender on a well known site and happened to see one advertised for, wait for it... $0 (plus post). Could not believe it but completed the purchase anyway - paid my $9 post and expected a call the following Monday to apologize for the error and get a refund. However 2 days later had my blender delivered! So don’t say it can’t happen.

I’m looking forward to getting my new scales

Yeah, it's disappeared now. Waiting on an email regarding the cancellation, I suppose. Pretty obviously silly looking back - they had one listed at $1000 too.

Coffee Parts are respected, no problem there. I just checked on Catch and it's currently listed for $299 plus freight.

I think you might have caught a website glitch or maybe they were editing the page and something went wrong with the price. Slim chance they'll accept their error and sell it to you for that price. It's more likely that they will contact you saying there was an unfortunate error and you'll be refunded.

Timemore Chestnut bargain on Catch - from Coffee Parts?

Hi guys. I'll be honest, I made my account to post this question, although I've been reading the forum for a while.

I've been in the market for a hand grinder for a bit but hesitant to drop the money needed to get a consistent grind. Just today I noticed Catch (previously Catch of the Day) was selling the Timemore Chestnut G1-S for a stunning $19.90, where it seems to normally retail closer to $300. It seems, way, way too good to be true, and we all know the old adage, but it states that the item is "Sold and delivered by Coffee Parts". From what I can tell, this is a registered company with a warehouse in Banksmeadow, NSW.

Clicking through to their company profile on Catch you see their return policy, where they state they can't take returns on any opened goods - obviously a breach of consumer law, as far as I know you must accept a return on goods faulty at sale. That being said, I couldn't help but pull the trigger after seeing they also have many other fully priced listings. Have I made a huge (or rather $19.90 plus shipping) mistake? Has anyone purchased from this company before? Either way, I'll update here to let you guys know, so someone else can potentially catch a bargain or avoid doing what I've done.
