Re: Sunbeam EM0480 problem
Yeah I didnt see that. I had no web access yesterday, and so rang and spoke to a rep. I thought their word might supercede any printed matter.
As it happens, there is no need for any receipt or anything. They have no problem determining the age as being less than 5 years, as its impossible to have an EM0480 that old.

Sunbeam EM0480 problem
My EM0480 is starting to seem a bit funny. It sounds as though it is labouring a bit, and has started to smell a bit if I grind more than a small amount. Its that sort of electric motor smell you get when appliances start to bugger up from working too hard.
Sorry for the very technical description.
Has anyone experienced this?
Its out of warranty - should I take it to an authorised Sunbeam service place? Or is there somebody who is not Sunbeam authd but highly recommended? Thanks.Tags: None
