I think the motor has been beefed up slightly and the appearance modernised. I am sure it will bring pleasure for many years and it will see quite a few ‘in vogue” grinders to the tip.
It would have been nice however if Mazzer had provided an improved fine adjustment for the collar along the lines adopted by Ceado on the new S models.......
But Mazzer get most things right!
There seems to be an almost anal pre-occupation with grind retention at present and as a consequence Mazzer grinders are currently unfashionable.
I own the older Kony and I have not found the small amount of grind retention degrades the coffee.
I think the quality of the beans, barista skill Level and About 10 other factors have a bigger impact on what lands in the cup.
