I have a Mignon manual and its been great for single dosing. its small but seems plenty powerful enough for good grinding with its 50mm flat burrs.

Thanks all for the reply. Sorry budget in particular would have been helpful on my part!
Budget wise probably $500-$600. Dimensions, smaller the better. My existing grinder is close to 50cm tall, less than that.
Just after posting I found the Eureka Mignon, I think it would be a definite contender.

I would agree. I think that these are very compact but highly effective grinders. The Specialita can easily single dose and does dose accurately when used with a hopper full of beans. I just sold my Atom and am getting my second Specialita. I really liked many aspects of the Atom but the Specialita just seems ideally designed for the sort of use us CS members put our grinders to.Originally posted by level3ninja View PostSome sort of dimension limits and a budget would help, but a Eureka Mignon Silenzio or Specialita would probably do the trick.

Smaller Form Factor Grinder?
Hi All, we have a new kitchen with much less bench space. I have a Compak K3 grinder which is tall and imposing.
It’s not in the good books with my wife and our perfect new kitchen so starting to investigate a smaller grinder. Perfect world is one that could go inside the pantry.
Hoping for some suggestions for smaller grinders suitable for espresso?
Cheers
