I upgraded my home coffee Making setup, from six years Of using Moka pot + porlex , to Breville infuser + Macap m2m.
I hope this $200 to $800 upgrade will stop me peeking “hardware for sale”
I spent more than 10 shots to dial in my new setup with Aldi medium beans. Probably 200 or 300g were wasted in the bin.

To minimise bean and time waste in future, I am looking for some general rules, if they exist, of changing grinding size in relation to change of bean roast level, freshness and origin.
Please pardon me If the answer is already somewhere. Thanks!
