Have a look at my thread with a very similar problem
https://coffeesnobs.com.au/forum/equ...k-burr-carrier
I ended up finding the previous owner must have had some galled threads, but persisted with screwing it in anyway
I'd suggest getting yourself a 1.5 meter length of angle iron, cut a 40cm-ish length and drill 2 5mm holes in it spaced far enough apart to match with 2 diagonally opposed rubber feet holes on the bottom of the grinder
I used new bolts from Bunnings to bolt the grinder to the angle so I didn't stuff the torx screws on the feet. Then clamp the angle/grinder into a bench vice
drill 2 more holes in your remaining piece of angle to bolt it down to your burr carrier
squirt a generous amount of Helmar H4000 silicone spray (or any other food grade silicone lube) down around the threads and start unscrewing the burr carrier an inch or 2 at a time, then back in and inch, working further and further out as you go. You'll need to use a bit of force, but don't push so hard that you blow an o-ring
once it's out, clean up the buggered threads with a thread file (I got mine from supercheap) and wire wheels in a drill/drill press
When it is looking pretty good, put it back in the grinder with a bit more food grade lube (I use Haynes lubrifilm) and start screwing back in, you may need to use a little force at times for the threads to align themselves if they're a bit dodgy.
Additionally, does yours have an aluminium or brass burr carrier?
Something I wish I'd known at the time, don't bother with thread freezing spray etc, it's a massive waste of time and it got me nowhere.

Help! Compak k3 push Grinder head stuck!

I made the mistake of not cleaning my K3 push for a couple of years until I got a rock stuck in the burrs.......I was only able to turn the top burr 1-2 inches each way. I had to resort to forcing the top burr a few more revolutions. I thought the grinder is a total loss, so I decided that a purchasing a new one is my next step.
I came back to it using a touch of WD40.....sprayed is lightly and down the notches....inching the top collar back an forth, I managed to get it off with a lot of force. I cleaned and cleand the grinder as best as I can and ran a few beans to "soak" up any WD40 left over. Took the collar of again and again to clean it up a few more times.
I then added a little bit of food grade grease to the collar and so far so good.....I totally understand using WD40 is not a good idea.

you will need brute force and then possibly a friendly machinist - good luck!

Help! Compak k3 push Grinder head stuck!
Oh Dear
I took the top head off to clean the grinder, all came out relatively easily, cleaned all the teeth, top and bottom, loosened gunk, vacuumed the odd bits out, then screwed the top back on.
All went well until I realised I had put the top back on, one notch wrong (there are three) nad so the teeth didn't mesh once I had screwed the head all the way on.
No problem, we'll just unscrew, rotate 120° then screw back on again
Unfortunately this is where things went pear shaped. I can't unscrew the head anymore - it seems locked in
At first I thought I might have cross-threaded, but I'm sure I didn't as otherwise I surely wouldn't have been able to screw it to the end.
Anybody have any experience with getting one of these off? I did try cooling the top with ice packs to contract the metal, but that didn't work.
Thanks for any insight
John
