  • Getting grinder parts painted

    Hey,

I'm trying to find out about getting some chrome parts painted matte black on a Eureka Mignon specialita. Who have you used in the past and did anyone have a rough idea of cost?

I have the chrome version as pictured and want it to end up like the full black version.

    Thanks Marty

Have you considered wrapping it instead of painting it? Might be cheaper and potentially reversible. Just a thought

I had thought of that but wasn't sure how good it would look?

Wrapping can look very good, is not too hard to do, especially on the flat surfaces of a grinder. It will not cost a lot and if it does not work out it is easily removed.
Like any job preparation is the key to a good result.
        Cheers Maurice
PS- If they can wrap cars then a flat surface on a grinder will be easier.

Would agree totally with Birkin7, wrapping is the way to go as it is(should be) 100% reversible and even if you do it for a few bucks of film and like the look but not the result your local sign writer or wrap man should be able to do it for reasonable $’s.
