They’re all good espresso grinders, but not ideal at courser settings.

You really want an entry level flat burr grinder like the Fellow Ode or if you’re going conical burrs a decent quality hand grinder. From the Baratza range the Sette 30AP would be a better choice.
    Thanks!

If you don't mind a bit of work, why not grab a hand grinder which you can also take travelling/camping. Timemore C2 (brew only), 1ZPresso JX (brew mainly), 1ZPresso JX Pro (does well for V60/Aeropress and espresso).

I have a JX Pro I use at work for 2-3 V60s a day and it works a treat, 17grams filter beans take about 40 seconds. I have also used it with a Flair and it is very good for espresso as well.

If you want electric you could look at a Precision GS1 filter grinder which has ghost burrs which are meant to be better grind distribution for brew/filter.

Ive used the Lume portable Burr grinder and was pretty impressed with it. It defiantly reasonably priced and is also very mobile should you want to take it to and from work.

Its one of those things I felt it was worth trying for the price it was and was impressed by it when used for different grinds.

    Cheers,

    Chris

What he said. Fellows Ode is a brilliant machine and reasonably priced.

    Mid-level Filter Grinder

    Hey guys

Looking for grinder recommendations for my work coffee habit.

Currently using a Sunbeam Cafe Series grinder, getting very inconsistent results with filter and Aeropress.

I have a Compak K3 at home, seems to work well.

Can anyone recommend a mid-range grinder that I can get for work to get me decent results for V60 and Aeropress?

    Thanks!
