Wow, up to 1,000 watts power ... and 20.5kg ... that IS a beast. You have scored yourself a keeper I suspect, can't imagine catching the upgraditis virus with that thing sitting on your bench!

Glass grind chute is clever I reckon. I had clumps dropping out of all the other single dose machines I've used, always wondered if glass would stop that. That, and the other features you've noted make it sound like a real winner to me. Appreciate you sharing and especially the details relative to the type of coffee you are making and the other grinders too.

Just thought I would let you know that I now have the beast sitting on my bench and I am extremely happy with it. I measured 0.1 g retention thanks to the glass grind chute and the vertical burrs. Flavour is excellent in my opinion. I have owned an Orphan Espresso Pharos, a Baratza Preciso, a Mahlkonig k30 Vario, an Anfim Super Caimano and a Mahlkonig Vario Home to compare it to. It has a very loose and fluffy grind. It is a very quiet grinder. Some may think that it doesn't produce quite enough fines to be absolutely ideal for an espresso grind. I mainly used the Mahlkonig Vario Home for years and produced an excellent coffee with it. The Quamar beats it for milk drinks (latte, iced latte..) The french press level produces more fines than my Mahlkonig Vario home when fitted with the Baratza steel burrs but the cup is very clean and flavoursome. Can highly recommend this grinder. If you have any questions I would be happy to answer them.

Anyone know about the new Quamar Sirio-Q Grinder?
Hi,
I have just discovered the Quamar Sirio-Q grinder online. I can't find any reviews on this "revolutionary" new grinder worth 6K +. Does anybody know anything about it? https://youtu.be/9KQQKLWrVFw
Thank you, FG.
