    Are you going to use a set of scales to weigh the ground coffee in the portafilter to within 0.1g every time? Yes, then probably not. No, almost definetely is

    Not sure where you're getting this from, the M2D is definitely designed for full hopper dosing

    Eureka Mignon Silenzio. Has timed dosing, is also capable of single dosing, and is much quieter than the other grinders above (and most grinders)

    Grinder Recommendation - Lelit v Macap v Compak

    Hi All,

    Looking for some advice on which grinder to go with. Recently purchased a Breville BES840 for my wife, and looking for a grinder to go with it. Looking at other comments, I've avoided going a cheap grinder to try maximize performance from the average coffee machine

    I've currently shortlisted a few options;
    Lelit PL44mmt
    Compak K3 Touch (or Push)
    Macap M2D (or M2M)

    Are there any other options i should be looking at in this price range, and are there any of those mentioned that I should avoid?
    Being somewhat beginner coffee makers, long time coffee snobs, is there also any benefit in getting one with timed dose setting (ie the M2D, K3 touch), or is the extra money not worth it? It looks like the M2D's adjustment knob is in a strange location and can only single dose, should i count this machine out, or is the grind quality worth it over the others?

    So many options, such a bad decision maker.

    Any advice is much appreciated.

Working...
