Maybe grinding up a large amount of coffee at once 250gms for a friend who wanted some nice coffee for a dinner party but they only have a blade grinder. That PNG Wahgi must be hard!

I too have kept a copy of the PDF file of the grinder who knows, I may need it again one day.

KK Sunbeam do deserve a pat on the back for their service, but one would hope they would improve their product in the future so they can have spares for most of the parts and not just a couple.

martybean the exact same thing happened to me.
Thats why I have a copy now of the manual as the Rep needed me to find the part number for him so he knew exactly what I was talking about.
The problem for him was, as you say, that it isnt a "spare".
He went through the salvage bin for me and found what I needed and now my 0450 is working again (although Im only keeping it for trips away).

KK, I got a brand new 6910 out of them last Christmas because of a problem with a very old 6900.

They can be very good with their customer service.

I have not had the need to call Sunbeam with a product problem
But have heard that they will bend over backwards to please the client

And Sunbeam deserves a pat on the back for that

    Positive Experince Getting Help

After recenlty discovering while cleaning my Sunbeam em0480 ginder, that the paddle had broke and all the little lugs had snapped off. I rang the service agent in Melb and I was told there was no spare part to replace it, in other words Sunbeam dont sell one. So I rang Sunbeam Customer service and spoke to their Rep, he said they dont have a spare . He then said I will go through the salvage Dept and see if I can find one, a few days later I have the part.
    Thankyou Sunbeam.
    Regards Marty
