My old Breville grinder died and that means a chance to upgrade. My chief limitation is space, specifically height. The whole machine, including hopper, cannot be taller than 335mm. I make one to two coffees a day, more sometimes, always espresso, usually served with milk. Am planning to move towards single dosing.
i have found:
Eureka Mignon Manuale
Eureka Mignon Classico
Niche Zero
Other Eureka models (Silenzio, Specialita) are a few centimetres too tall. The Niche is essentially unavailable right now - and coffee withdrawal symptoms are setting in so I can’t wait for availability.
Which seems to give me a choice between the Manuale and the Classico. I’d be happy with one of these and am leaning towards the Classico, just because I think a few options might be useful. It’s my first foray into anything better than a standard Breville grinder so I’m not sure how my workflow will develop.
Have I missed a small grinder anywhere?
All input appreciated. Opinions welcomed.
