Hi all,
We have a breville 820 grinder which has done a decent job for the past 2 - 3 years.. always operating at an espresso grind of between 10 and 6 (on its own scale).. recently I heard a few clunks and then it stopped grinding. I've taken both burrs out, cleaned them, reset etc.. everything looks fine. But now on the finer settings it produces very few grounds and what it does produce are super fine. Too fine to be useful.
At courser settings (for percolators etc) it seems to be working perfectly well. Then adjusting the grind nob back to the finer end, the knob feels slightly more resistive than I recall it being (not that I often adjusted from one end to the other).
Any suggestions of what it might be and where to focus my attentions next?
sorry if this has been discussed and solved elsewhere.
