    I have raised the false floor to reduce the chamber size by about 1L
    Place fibreglass insulation under the false bottom and it may help to increase the batch size

    I bet youre getting sick of telling me to insulate the base  . I will get around to it! I currently have stuffed the base with foil which must be doing something.

    I am really glad i built the TO roaster. TBH at this stage i am not too worried about the batch size.

      My unit is not insulated at all... However thinking of using a Fire Blanket... Cheep and should be able to make up a nice sock :-)
