    Re: Turbo Roaster

    Great work Gra
Its really nice to hear that the temp is easily controllable

The other plus about this design is that its hands free for the most part
You get to enjoy the roast visually at first and then the aroma

    Again well done

Just a few photos of my paddles to give you some idears
Thanks for that... got a few options/ideas now... have to see what I come across before assembling

Does the oven end up having any leftover roasting or green coffee smell? (missus does intend to use to for other things!!) :-/

      cheers

You will get a film of coffee oils on the TOs glass section & a little on the heat deflector

If you intend using the TO for other cooking chores it would be prudent to wipe it well with a little detergent and a microfibre cloth when warm after coffee roasting

          Just a quick question

With the smaller outer pot 2nd version does the chaff migrate to the bottom pot through the insert holes

            Hi Kk

Re: chaff I cut vertical slots around the top of the basket with the dermal this lets the chaff exit and gather at the base as before..

Works Great and keeps the chaff from burning and affecting the out come of the roast...

            Cheers Gray..

Yes I had the same idea
I felt the chaff needed an extra exit other than the holes in the enclosed insert

Its great to have a clean roast
No black mass of chaff to spoil a perfectly good roast

Glad to hear that its working as designed
              Many happy roasts to you
