Well after a couple of weeks of mayhem with trying to getting a gas connection I have managed to get the roaster fired up. The next thing now is just finishing of the flue connections to the Chaff Collector and we should be underway.
the reason it took so long to get connections is that we were trying to work out how to connect the regulator that was on the machine already to the LPG cylinder. the problems end up being that the reg was for natural gas and but the plates still stated LPG. would have been nice to know this in the first place. (and would have saved me over $350 in getting hoses made up that still did not work). In the end it worked a treat by hooling it up with my BBQ reg. Hinsight in the darnest thing. >

Well I got if fired up but still not have run any beans through it yet as I only got the gas fittings today to get it working. I will hopefully get the flue up and running in the next few days and hopefully by early next week I should have roasted my first batch.
I will certainly take lots of photos of the first batch and still lots of learning to do with the machine, air flows tempos etc. But I suppose thats when the fun begins. The playtime.
